Well, THAT Took Long Enough

Hello, everyone!  It's finally here!  After having been here for...*checks the calendar*...fifty days, I've just now gotten around to starting my blog.  Of course, getting it started (with all the template customization, stylistic choices, etc. that come with starting a new blog) and making the first few posts are the most tedious part of the process, so I imagine that updates will be much, MUCH more frequent than every fifty days.  Now, you might be wondering, "Why 'Chile from My Room'?"  Because I couldn't think of anything profound or more creative, and I'll be conducting this blog from my room.  *shrugs*

In any case, this will be my personal chronicle of my time studying abroad here in Chile.  I'll be trying to document most of the important and interesting things I experience while I'm here.  However, as with some other historical sites and museums around the world, not every place permits photography (in other words, I've already come across a couple places where my camera wasn't permitted).  Regardless, there's way too much to share from my arrival until now, so I'm going to break this up into multiple posts.  See you on the other side!
